NAMONI invites you to a unique community lodge experience on the edge of Kidepo Valley National Park. Nestled on 36 acres within a community conservancy that borders the park, our ten safari cabins blend comfort with the stunning wild beauty of Karamoja. Awaken to breathtaking savanna views, wildlife just steps away, and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of the Karamojong people. 


As part of a community-led conservation model, NAMONI supports local livelihoods while helping safeguard this extraordinary landscape.

Your stay

Tented safari cabins

10 self-contained tented safari cabins, each with a private veranda and panoramic views. Flexible room setup, including single, double/twin, or triple options. 

Location

The lodge is located just outside the boundaries of Kidepo Valley National Park, allowing guests to stay without paying park entry fees. Set on over 30 to 36 acres of community conservancy at the edge of the park (about 20 minutes from the Nataba Gate).

MAIN LODGE

At the heart of the property is the main lodge, featuring a restaurant, bar, and comfortable lounge areas overlooking the park and surrounding savanna. It is the perfect place to relax between activities while enjoying the scenery and wildlife that regularly roam through the conservancy.

Meals are a time to slow down, share stories from the day's adventures, and enjoy the warm hospitality of our team.  Vegetarian options are always available, and we are happy to cater for other dietary requirements upon request.

Committed to protecting the wilderness by minimizing environmental impact and eliminating single-use plastics throughout the lodge. 


As part of their community conservancy model, 10% of every guest night directly supports community conservation projects in the surrounding area.

Walking Safari

Step into the wild on a guided safari by foot to feel the true pulse of Kidepo. Connect directly with the untamed savanna at ground level, discovering smaller flora and birdlife up close. 

Game drives

Track wildlife across the sweeping savanna from the comfort of a vehicle. Explore the plains of Kidepo Valley with experienced guides, tracking iconic wildlife across grasslands and seasonal riverbeds.

Kidepo Valley Lodge - Experience Kidepo Valley National Park

Rates include 10% community conservation levy and government taxes. Rates are calculated based on the current VAT exemption for the accommodation component. Should VAT become applicable in the future, it will be added to invoices once required by the government.

Game drive experience

Explore the park in a 4WD Landcruiser with pop-up roof.

Available directly from the lodge. Includes driver, excludes park-fees.

One game drive (4 hrs)

Two game drives (7 hrs )

$70 pp

Minimum (payment) of 2 people. Maximum of 4 people.
